Welcome to the Interface Science Lab!

Most significant chemical and physical processes on our planet occur at surfaces and interfaces. The chemical properties of the thin boundary layer of molecules between two media are unique and differ from those of the bulk media. Understanding how molecules organize themselves at interfaces is a crucial challenge in biology, chemistry, materials science, and many other fields. Our goal is to implement specialized interface-selective nonlinear optical spectroscopy and microscopy, along with various analytical tools, to explore the intriguing properties of interfaces.
